It's that time of year again when the Santa Ana winds start to blow in SoCal. Today, this one is too close for comfort. About 4-5 miles from our home in North San Diego County. This one started on Camp Pendleton and spread to residential areas. Supposedly, the military was not conducting artillery or other explosive exercises...right. Took Wolfie to our overlook by the tomato fileds about 8 pm tonight to get these shots. He could have cared less. It was much more impressive than the photos do justice. The flames were close to 100 feet tall and were "dancing" along Pendleton's mountain tops.
